AN ACT to direct the north carolina department of public safety to reinstate inmate litter crews.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The Department of Public Safety, Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice, shall implement a program similar to the former Inmate Litter Crews to assist in picking up trash throughout the State of North Carolina.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
