AN ACT to appropriate funds for drainage ditch clearing activities in certain counties.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The sum of twelve million dollars ($12,000,000) is appropriated on a nonrecurring basis for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to be allocated equally to the Soil and Water Conservation Districts in the counties of Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pender, Robeson, Sampson, Scotland, and Wayne. These funds shall be used for clearance of drainage ditches.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
