AN ACT to appropriate funds to pay off the principAl of water and sewer bonds that were used to set up infrastructure for the prison.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.(a)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Tyrrell County the sum of three million nine hundred fourteen thousand dollars ($3,914,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be used to pay off the principal of water bonds that were used to set up infrastructure for the prison.

SECTION 1.(b)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Columbia the sum of two million forty thousand dollars ($2,040,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be used to pay off the principal of the sewer bonds that were used to set up infrastructure for the prison.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
