AN ACT to appropriate funds to various organizations in greene county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.(a)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Greene County Arts and Historical Society, a nonprofit organization, the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to support the organization's community programs.

SECTION 1.(b)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Greene County Training School & South Greene High School National Alumni Association, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year for facility improvements at the former Rosenwald School.

SECTION 1.(c)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Greene County Interfaith Volunteers, a nonprofit organization, the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to support the organization's community programs.

SECTION 1.(d)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Greene County Improvement Association, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to support the organization's community programs.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
