AN ACT to promote historical sites and historical preservation throughout the state.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 143B‑62(1) is amended by adding a new sub‑subdivision to read:

k.        To develop and implement programs to promote historic sites and historical preservation in this State.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
