HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 469
A JOINT RESOLUTION CONFIRMing THE APPOINTMENT OF wanda taylor TO THE NORTH CAROLINA INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION.
Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and
Whereas, the Governor wishes to appoint Wanda Taylor of Wake County to the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
SECTION 1. The appointment of Wanda Taylor of Wake County to a term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission, to begin immediately and expire on June 30, 2026, is confirmed.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 24th day of May, 2021.
