AN ACT appropriating funds to Opportunities Industrialization center, inc., to provide covid‑19 testing and vaccinations and other medical care to underserved communities in Nash and Edgecombe counties through its mobile wellness on wheels unit.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to provide COVID‑19 testing and vaccinations directly to underserved communities in Nash and Edgecombe Counties and connect them to integrated care services and exercise therapy services through its new Wellness on Wheels unit, a 35‑foot renovated RV.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
