AN ACT to appropriate funds to complete the martin luther king, jr., park.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Committee, a nonprofit organization, the sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000) for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to complete the development of the Martin Luther King, Jr., Park. The completion of the Park will help to improve economic development in a tier one community.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
