AN ACT to appropriate funds for the renovation and expansion of the randall library at the university of north carolina at wilmington.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is transferred from the General Fund to the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund the sum of (i) twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year and (ii) thirty‑six million dollars ($36,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year.

SECTION 2.  There is appropriated from the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of (i) twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year and (ii) thirty‑six million dollars ($36,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to provide funds for the renovation and expansion of the Randall Library at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The total amount authorized for the project is sixty‑one million five hundred thousand dollars ($61,500,000), which includes funds appropriated for planning purposes in Section 36.2 of S.L. 2018‑5.

SECTION 3.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
