AN ACT to appropriate funds to the city of durham to be provided as a grant to support capital IMPROVEMENTS and accessibility improvements to the pauli murray family home, a national historic landmark site.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Durham the sum of two hundred seventy‑five thousand dollars ($275,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be provided as a grant to the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice, a nonprofit organization, to be used for capital improvements, including accessibility improvements, to the Pauli Murray Family Home, a national historic landmark site.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
