AN ACT to provide additional funding for the Film and Entertainment Grant Fund.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Commerce the sum of thirty‑four million dollars ($34,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for each year of the 2021‑2023 fiscal biennium to be allocated to the Film and Entertainment Grant Fund created pursuant to G.S. 143B‑437.02A and used for purposes consistent with that statute.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
