AN ACT to appropriate funds for a homeless shelter in elizabeth city.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Elizabeth City the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year for expenses relating to purchasing land for and/or renovating a homeless shelter.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
