AN ACT authorizing the town of davidson to adopt ordinances regulating the planting, removal, and preservation of trees, including on property to be developed for single‑family or duplex residential uses.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Section 6 of S.L. 1997‑420, as amended by Section 5 of S.L. 2005‑305, reads as rewritten:

Section 6.  Sections 4, 5, and 6 of this act shall apply only to the Towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Matthews, and Nags Head.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
