AN ACT to appropriate funds for the operation of the new state veterans home in kernersville for the 2020‑2021 fiscal year.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the State Veterans Home Trust Fund to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs the sum of sixty‑six thousand four hundred thirty‑nine dollars ($66,439) in recurring funds for the 2020‑2021 fiscal year to be used to establish a full‑time equivalent position, Veterans Service Officer GN09, to represent the State's interests and be responsible for State‑owned assets at the new State Veterans Home in Kernersville when it becomes operational.
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
