AN ACT appropriating funds to the town of pembroke for the purchase of a new aerial ladder fire truck.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Pembroke the sum of six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to assist the Town with purchasing a new aerial ladder fire truck, which will allow better fire protection for property in the Town and on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
