AN ACT to appropriate funds to the town of huntersville to study and abate FREQUENT cases of ocular melanoma in the area.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Huntersville the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be used to study and abate the cause of frequent cases of ocular melanoma in the area. By July 1, 2021, the Town shall provide a report to the Department of Environmental Quality and the Department of Health and Human Services on a budget plan for the funds appropriated in this act.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
