HOUSE BILL 203
AN ACT to extend the deadline for certification of police telecommunicators.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. G.S. 17E‑7(c2) reads as rewritten:
(c2) Effective July 1, 2021, 2022, any person employed as a telecommunicator by a municipal police agency shall meet all the requirements for telecommunicators as set forth in this Chapter.
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 8th day of June, 2021.
