AN ACT appropriating funds to surry medical ministries foundation, Inc., for capital improvements and operating expenses to support the provision of free medical care to individuals who are uninsured.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Surry Medical Ministries Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, the sum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to fund capital improvements and operating expenses to support the organization's mission of providing free medical care to individuals who are uninsured. These funds shall be used for nonsectarian purposes only.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
