AN ACT to provide funding to the housing finance agency for a grant to a nonprofit to assist certain homeowners impacted by hurricanes matthew, florence, and Michael.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding G.S. 143C‑5‑2, there is appropriated from the General Fund to the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency the sum of one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be provided as a grant to Kingdom Community Development Corporation for the completion of construction on 28 subdivision units, six single‑family homes, and eight townhomes in Balsawood Village for families affected by Hurricanes Matthew, Florence, and Michael.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
