SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 54

 

 

A JOINT RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENTs of Samuel T. Bratton and Brian K. NORTH TO the North Carolina MINING commission.

 

Whereas, pursuant to G.S. 143B‑291, appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Mining Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor has nominated Samuel T. Bratton of Wake County and Brian K. North, P.E., of Guilford County to serve on the North Carolina Mining Commission as commissioners representing the mining industry; Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

 

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Samuel T. Bratton of Wake County to serve on the North Carolina Mining Commission for a term beginning January 1, 2021, and expiring December 31, 2024, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  The appointment of Brian K. North, P.E., of Guilford County to serve on the North Carolina Mining Commission for a term beginning January 1, 2021, and expiring December 31, 2024, is confirmed.

SECTION 3.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
