HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 1236
A JOINT RESOLUTION providing for the confirmation of Jean Farmer‑Butterfield to the Board of Review.
Whereas, the provisions of G.S. 96‑15.3(c) require appointments of the Governor to the Board of Review to be confirmed by the General Assembly by joint resolution; and
Whereas, the Governor has submitted to the General Assembly the name of his appointee to the Board of Review as the member representative of employers; Now, therefore
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
SECTION 1. The appointment of Jean Farmer‑Butterfield of Wilson County to membership on the Board of Review as the member representative of employers for a term beginning July 12, 2020, and ending June 30, 2024, is confirmed.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 8th day of July, 2020.
