AN ACT to appropriate funds to construct a regional community arts center and provide program offerings in the town of cornelius.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (Budget Code 14800) the sum of one hundred twenty‑five thousand dollars ($125,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2020‑2021 fiscal year for a directed grant to the Town of Cornelius for the following purposes:

(1)        $100,000 for the construction of a regional community arts center.

(2)        $25,000 for program offerings for the regional community arts center.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2020.
