AN ACT to appropriate funds to the river city community development CORPORATION to assist those affected by the CORONAVIRUS pandemic.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the River City Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2020‑2021 fiscal year to be used to assist the homeless, provide counseling for housing, and support the YouthBuild Program in the Elizabeth City area.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2020.
