SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 773

A JOINT RESOLUTION providing for the confirmation of sallie shuping‑russell to the north carolina investment authority board of directors.

Whereas, under the provisions of G.S. 147‑71.1, appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Investment Authority Board of Directors are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly by joint resolution; and

Whereas, the Governor wishes to appoint Sallie Shuping‑Russell to the North Carolina Investment Authority Board of Directors; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Sallie Shuping‑Russell of Orange County to a term on the North Carolina Investment Authority Board of Directors that began July 1, 2025, and expires June 30, 2029, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 24th day of September, 2025.
