SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 768
A JOINT RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF Kenneth L. Goodman TO THE NORTH CAROLINA INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION.
Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and
Whereas, the Governor wishes to reappoint Kenneth L. Goodman of Richmond County to the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
SECTION 1. The appointment of Kenneth L. Goodman of Richmond County to a term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission, that began on May 1, 2025, and expires on April 30, 2031, is confirmed.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 30th day of June, 2025.
