SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 2

A JOINT RESOLUTION adjourning the 2025 regular session of the general assembly to a date certain, as provided by law.

Whereas, G.S. 120‑11.1 provides for the 2025 Regular Session of the General Assembly to convene at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and on that day meet solely to elect officers, adopt rules, and otherwise organize the session and provides that, when they adjourn that day, they stand adjourned until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 29, 2025; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  When the Senate and the House of Representatives adjourn on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, they stand adjourned to reconvene on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
