AN ACT appropriating funds to the department of health and human services, division of public health, to fund expansion of community health center services in mecklenburg county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, the sum of seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2024‑2025 fiscal year to be allocated as a directed grant to Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers, Inc., a nonprofit, federally qualified community health center, to fund expansion of the behavioral health and dental health programs at its Sugar Creek Health Center site in Mecklenburg County.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2024.
