AN ACT to appropriate funds for the redevelopment and PRESERVATION of the shallowford square area in the town of lewisville.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of four million nine hundred eighteen thousand dollars ($4,918,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2024‑2025 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Town of Lewisville for the redevelopment and preservation of the Shallowford Square Area, which serves as space where Town residents hold events, fundraisers, and community gatherings.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2024.
