AN ACT to appropriate funds to support the north carolina reading service.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of one hundred seven thousand dollars ($107,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2024‑2025 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Radio Reading Service, Inc., (North Carolina Reading Service) to allow the organization to add more employee hours and subscriptions, maintain equipment, and provide supplies for printing.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2024.
