AN ACT to appropriate funds to support the eastern triad workforce initiative.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of four million five hundred thousand dollars ($4,500,000) in recurring funds for each year of the 2023‑2025 fiscal biennium to provide grants to support the Eastern Triad Workforce Solutions Collaborative. These funds shall be allocated each fiscal year as follows:

(1)        $847,500 to Alamance County.

(2)        $825,000 to Randolph County.

(3)        $687,500 to Rockingham County.

(4)        $2,140,000 to Guilford County.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
